Natalie Abbate Registered Physiotherapist
Originally from Toronto, Natalie brings a passion for sports, exercise and rehabilitation to the clinic. Her experience working with a wide range of individuals and sports has inspired a passion for individualizing care for any patient that walks through the door. Whether you are looking to return to sport, work or get back to an activity that is meaningful to you, she would be excited to help you achieve your goals.
Natalie began her undergraduate education at Oakland University (Michigan, USA) playing NCAA Division 1 soccer for two years. She then transferred to Western University and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and a Masters of Physiotherapy while playing for the Western Mustangs.
In 2024, she pursued a sport physiotherapy fellowship at Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic where she was the primary therapist for the following Western University varsity teams; men’s rugby, women’s lacrosse, men’s volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s baseball, men’s and women’s ultimate frisbee, women’s ringette, and men’s waterpolo. Additionally, she assisted other physiotherapists with coverage for Western football, soccer, wrestling, and track and field. She also had the opportunity to cover Ontario Summer Games 2024, the Forest City Road Race 2025, a variety of provincial and invitational high school sporting events as well as in-season practice coverage to the London Lightning (Basketball Super League).
Outside the clinic, Natalie loves to play soccer, bike, hike, play pickle ball and play beach volleyball with friends and family.

Ivan Cheng Registered Massage Therapist
Ivan is a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Langara College. An active individual who has gone through several injuries himself, Ivan has experienced the pain and frustration of having an injury take you out of the game. Motivated to help clients obtain their health goals, Ivan provides client-centered care to help them get back into their favorite activity.

Julian Cooper Registered Physiotherapist
Sheldon Crouse Registered Physiotherapist
Sheldon is an east coast native, graduating with distinction from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2012. He then went on to complete a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University, graduating in 2014. During his years in university he completed the Hockey Canada Safety Program and worked as the head trainer for elite minor hockey teams.
Since graduating, Sheldon has focused on developing his manual therapy skills, completing the Orthopaedic Division Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Level I course and Level II Upper and Lower Extremity courses. Sheldon has also completed his Acupuncture AA1 and advanced practice IMS/dry needling.
Sheldon continues to be very involved in sport, playing hockey, golf and tennis recreationally and is working towards achieving his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy. His special interests include sports injuries, neck, shoulder, back and hip pathology. He is passionate about helping people return to active living, maximizing function and performance.

Narumi Endo Registered Kinesiologist
Narumi graduated from Camosun College in Victoria in 2024 with a Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy. She holds multiple certifications as a registered Kinesiologist (BCAK), clinical exercise physiologist (CSEP), personal trainer (NSCA), and athletic therapist (CAT(C)) allowing her to work with a wide range of clients.
Narumi is passionate about helping individuals restore optimal function, health and quality of life through personalized exercise programs.
As a certified athletic therapist, she covers various sports and events outside the clinic. She is also working with the North Shore Warriors Hockey Academy.
When she is not in the clinic or on the sidelines, Narumi enjoys staying active - running long distance running (10K or half marathon), lifting, cycling, hiking, and playing volleyball and soccer.

Greg Furlong @ Yaletown Registered Physiotherapist
Greg is from Newfoundland and Labrador and has a special interest in working with the athletic populations, in particular Soccer and CrossFit athletes. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Honours in 2017 at Memorial University. While at Memorial University, he played varsity soccer for the Memorial Sea-Hawks. Greg then went on to complete his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2019.
For the past 4 years he had been working as a physiotherapist in Prince Edward Island. During his time there, he gained experience working with college soccer, volleyball and basketball teams. Greg attended multiple national soccer and volleyball competitions, including the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games. Greg also has coached soccer as an assistant coach for Holland College and as a head coach with PEI provincial teams.
Greg has continued education in concussion management, ACL injury management, and Sport First Responder. Recently, he obtained his Sports Certificate from Sports Physiotherapy Canada.
Greg is currently completing a Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Clinic and with the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Midori Lam (Handford) Registered Physiotherapist
Midori completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2015 and has been with Allan McGavin since 2015. She enjoys treating all areas of the body, with special interests in the lower body, neck and lumbar spine. She has keen interest in optimizing performance for triathletes, runners, cyclists, racket sport athletes, and soccer players of all ages. Midori combines her undergraduate degree knowledge in ergonomics and kinesiology (SFU) with her post-graduate education in manual therapy (FCAMPT), intramuscular dry needling, bike fitting and exercise prescription (DNS Level 1) to understand how your body moves. She evaluates movement from a very detailed to global perspective. Her goals as a physiotherapist are to provide knowledge and a treatment approach that enables you to prevent and rehabilitate from injury in your pursuit of optimal health and performance. In the community, Midori co-created the Allan McGavin Run Club and has worked with SportMedBC Run Clinics, BalletBC, Red Truck Racing, Badminton BC, BC Soccer, PoCo Grand Prix, American Master Games, Arc’teryx, MEC, and HUB Cycling.
Midori grew up in the Fraser Valley, and played competitive soccer and badminton. In soccer, her team placed first twice at the B.C. youth soccer provincials, and second at Nationals. In badminton, she held a top ten position in U-19 women’s singles and mixed doubles in B.C. Midori now enjoys spending time with her family, doing triathlons, hiking, and spending time outdoors doing just about anything! She has completed the Whistler Fondo, 2 Olympic triathlons, 1 half Ironman and 1 full distance Ironman. All these activities have not been injury-free and Midori has a history of coping with and rehabilitating from low back and knee pain, ankle sprains, groin and rotator cuff strains, and a labral tear of the hip to name a few.

Thomas Scarr Registered Physiotherapist
Thomas Scarr grew up on the Sunshine Coast where he developed a passion for exercise, sport, and physical activity. This led him to playing baseball in University and then pursuing a career in strength and conditioning as well as physical therapy.
In collaboration with his patients, Thomas uses education, exercise, dry needling and manual therapy to help them obtain their individualized goals.
Thomas’ special interests lie in everything sports physical therapy, but specifically in biomechanics, where he has performed research using force plate technology to get a better understanding of how his patients and athletes move.
When he is not working, Thomas enjoys playing sports with his friends, weight lifting and running.

Dallas Siemens @ Yaletown Registered Physiotherapist
Dallas completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia-Okanagan before moving to Vancouver to complete his Master of Physical Therapy at the Vancouver campus. He has worked in both hospital and private settings while in school and is comfortable working with a wide variety of clients.
As a physiotherapist, it is Dallas’ job to understand how both your mental and physical health can impact your injury. He understands that each person is different and will spend 100% of his treatment time with you to get to know your story and to make an individualized treatment plan.
Dallas understands the importance of preventative rehab. He uses a combination of education, exercise, and manual therapy to help you regain function as well as reduce the risk of re-injury.

Laszlo Szederkenyi Registered Massage Therapist

Kevin Valcke
Kevin has been practicing since 2015 when he completed a post-grad fellowship in Sports Physiotherapy at UBC. For the past 9 years, Kevin has been working in sports medicine settings both clinically and with teams. For the past two years, he has been the Lead Therapist & Medical Coordinator with the Canadian Women’s National Volleyball Team.
Prior to that role, Kevin worked with UBC Varsity Athletics – Basketball, Rugby and Swimming (2015-2021), Field Hockey Canada (2016-2017), UBCOB Raven’s Rugby Club (2016-2022), and has accompanied Team Canada at two FISU World University Games (2017, 2023). Alongside his sports roles, Kevin worked clinically at UBC where he saw all clients ranging from kids to elderly, athletes and non-athletes alike.
Clinically, Kevin uses a simplistic and common-sense approach to rehabilitation. Focusing on education, hands-on work, and progressively challenging exercises, he enjoys pushing clients to work hard and take control. He is also certified in and performs dry-needling/acupuncture techniques when needed for pain modification. He prides himself on treating everyone with the same vigour and enthusiasm for rehab as professional athletes. He has a special interest in knee, foot, and ankle conditions, though he is well-versed in all areas of the body.

Dan Wilson Registered Physiotherapist
Dan’s academic and clinical passions include the treatment of injuries to knees (ACL and Meniscus), Hips, Shoulders and Back. Every day he utilizes his advanced training in Manual Therapy, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS, Kineticore Dry Needling), McKenzie Manual Diagnosis and Therapy, together with his expertise in rehabilitation exercise. His treatment model emphasizes a one-on-one approach that uses evidence informed practice to create a practical and meaningful individually tailored treatment plan. His goal is to empower you to achieve your fullest potential. Dan enjoys working with all ages of the active population. He himself continues to pursue a variety of athletic endeavors.
